Meet the Ambassadors
My name is Lesley, I'm originally from San Diego, CA but currently live in Arizona. I'm a former Dolphin trainer turned stay at home mom. My love for the great outdoors started when I stepped out of my comfort zone and moved to Hawaii a couple of years ago. I was never a very active person but then a did my first hike on the island of Oahu and I fell in love. I had to see more! I then had my little boy, we call him Jack Attack. I want to instill a love of nature in my son. I want him to grow up loving nature and treated it with some Aloha. One thing I've learned since moving to Arizona is that paradise does not have to be tropical. I am beyond thrilled to be an mtn chick ambassador! To be a part of a such an awesome community!
I also have a blog that I share all my adventures.
Hi, I’m Amber, an outdoor enthusiast. I was raised in the Midwest but have called Arizona home since 2012. I was not always an outdoors lover, but after moving to the desert, my life changed dramatically and I found comfort, peace, and strength on the trails. Now, I am extremely passionate about Arizona, the outdoors, The National Park Service, and leaving no trace on the trails. From camping, rappelling, kayaking to hiking our beautiful state, there’s no wrong form of movement if it gets you out and exploring our beautiful state. During the week, I work the 9-5 grind in hospitality and on my weekends, I’m found with dirt in my nails and Chaco tan lines on my feet. I can’t wait to meet you on the trails!
My name is Stephanie,23, Arizonan girl at heart but originally from Mexico City, MX. From a very young age my wandering spirit and restless feet have been addicted to nature and exploring. I've since then have made it my ultimate purpose to see as much of the world as possible, so far I've made it to 17 different countries, most of them on my own! But no matter where I'm at, the trails and my hiking boots are always calling my name. Currently I'm working hard to reach one of my all time goals of trekking through Patagonia next year. Which means a lot of hiking/backpacking to prepare! When I'm not outside or working you can usually find me listening to Alt-J and sharing a beer with my best friends. I am so excited to share the trails with all of the adventurous souls that make up Mountain Chicks!
