Meet the Ambassadors
I am a recent graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County and currently teach high school social studies in Baltimore City Public Schools. While I grew up directly next to the Appalachian Trail in Maryland, my love for the outdoors began last year when I hiked the Franconia Ridge in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Since then, I have visited 15 National Parks (my favorites are Arches and Glacier!), traveled to 22 states for outdoor recreation opportunities, and began volunteering for Catoctin Mountain Park in Maryland. I also love top-roping and bouldering - both outdoors and at my rock gym!
I am first and foremost a wanderluster at heart. Being the daughter of a mountaineer and raised in Colorado, I've been camping, hiking, skiing and rock climbing practically since birth. I'm also an avid yogi, photographer and blogger. I believe my purpose in life is to inspire others to get outside and experience life and to help protect the wild places I love to recreate in. Last summer my fiance, dog and I lived out of our Subaru and roadtripped across the Western US and Canada and now I live for the weekends, evenings and dawn patrol weekdays when I can get outside.
