I recently spent a few days in the Havasu Falls camping area. This is the backpacking checklist I used when I was packing for my Havasupai trip. I focused on doing ultralight backpacking. During my first camping trip to Havasupai, I brought way too many things with me!
By taking just the necessities with you when you go backpacking, you minimize your chances of having an uncomfortable back. Take it from me.
Backpack – Gregory Packs Jade 53
Hammock – ENO LED hammock
Sleeping bag – OutdoorsmanLab 32F
NOTE: I usually recommend going 10 degrees lower than what you expect the temperature to be at night.
Clothing to hike and out with and an outfit to hang around the campground
Lightweight jacket – Patagonia Nano
Hiking shoes – Astral Trek 1
Sandals – Astral Rosas
4 pairs of socks
3L hydration bladder
ENO LED strand lights
First Aid Kit
Band-Aids and Ibuprofen
Headlamp and or flashlight
Glasses - blind w/o them lawl
Toothbrush and travel toothpaste
Soap - Dr.Bronners
Freeze-dried food – yum -_-
