Meet the Ambassadors
Jen Potts - Illinois
My name is Jen, I am 33 and come from Midwestern Illinois! We don't have much in the name of altitude and mountains here but we make up for it in sprawling scenic beauty and tons of beautiful rivers, lakes and trails! When I'm not running my small business, I'm volunteering my time helping another great cause called Gear Forward; as well as traveling, camping or hiking with my 2 dogs and my husband. We are section hiking all 160 miles of the River to River trail in Southern IL this year and preparing for our first AT section in October. I am a beginning outdoor blogger/vlogger and enjoy all things outside. I strictly practice and encourage the importance of LNT and the conservation of our public lands! I'm so happy to be here and to connect and network with amazing people sharing the same interests! See you out there!
Karly Calrissian - Indiana
My name is Karly Calrissian, I’m 23 years old from Northwest Indiana. I started hiking to get healthy and figure out who I am. I recently hiked to Everest Base Camp, my longest and most challenging hike ever. My life has never been happier, all thanks to getting outside!
Trier Knieper - Ohio
My name is Trier, 21, and I am a Michigan native living in Columbus, Ohio. I have 2 dogs that I hike and backpack with all over the country. We especially love road trips and meeting new people! I'm a runner, climber, hiker and basically anything that involves not being inside. I am a strong believer in living life to it's fullest and the best way to do that is to see all that this world has to offer. I work in Law Enforcement so getting outdoors is truly the best way to escape all the stress and just relax! Excited to be able to share my adventures with all of you!
Bailey Kinsey - Illinois
Hey hikin' pals! My name is Bailey Kinsey, I live in the land between the rivers of the Shawnee National Forest in Southern Illinois. I am constantly on the move and always exploring! I love showing people how beautiful Illinois and the Midwest truly is as well as all the other places I travel to. Showing people how amazing the world truly is and how important it is to protect the environment is something I'm very passionate about and what I try to encourage people to do every day. I have a YouTube channel that I just started up and will be making informational videos about trails and travels I take. One of my goals is to travel to every National Park and so far I'm at 16! And next year I will be doing some hiking in Europe! I am so excited to be a part of a powerful group of women and to explore with you!
My name is Kelsey Heyob and I’ve lived in Columbus, Ohio my whole life. I fell in love with hiking while going through a divorce and ever since it has been become a mental escape for me. Some of my favorites hikes that I’ve done are the Haiku Stairs in Oahu and the Tahoma Creek Suspension Bridge at Mt. Rainier. I’m really excited that I found this group and I’m looking forward to meeting a lot of awesome chicks who share my passion!
